When death is all around us, it's a dark and rainy day. A beating heart is quiet now. A breath has gone away. A friend of mine who laughed and smiled. Is gone from all I know; We fight the void but have no choice, we have to let them go. When death is all around us, it weighs heavy on our heart. But know that if there wasn't love, it wouldn't hurt to part. The sorrow and the stabbing pain of being left behind, Reminds us that we dared to risk the touch of humankind. __________________________________ Tony was not only a colleague but my friend. He always took time to listen to and support me. I will miss him greatly, but will always have fond memories of the adventures we had together.
